Maruti Suzuki Launches 2019 Alto 800 BS VI at Rs. 2.93 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched the heavily updated Alto 800 today with prices starting at Rs. 2.93 Lakh Ex Showroom. The facelift Alto 800 comes with many design tweaks and feature updates on it. The biggest change is the BS VI engine that comes in with this update.

In terms of exterior design changes the 2019 Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 now comes with a updated grille along with new design headlights and fresh looking bumper. The side fenders also get redesigned in the process. The Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 will be available in uptown red, superior white, silky silver, granite grey, mojito green, cerulian blue body color options.

On the inside the Alto 800 now gets dual tone interiors and seat upholstery along with a all new design dash with a updated instrument cluster. The Alto 800 also gets bottle holders in the front and rear door pads. Maruti Suzuki have also included a Smart Play Dock infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity on the equipment list. This Smart Play Dock transforms the connected telephone into a touch interface for calls, music, navigation etc.

In terms of safety features the Alto 800 now comes with ABS and EBD, Reverse Parking Sensor, Driver Airbag, Speed Alert System and Seat Belt Reminder for both driver and co-driver. New Alto also complies with upcoming crash and pedestrian safety regulation.

Powering the 2019 Alto 800 is the BS VI complaint 796cc engine with 47PS of power at 6000rpm and 69Nm of torque at 3500rpm. The BS VI complaint engine substantially reduces the Nitrogen Oxides in vehicular emission by nearly 25%. Maruti Suzuki have upgraded the engine hardware and software along with updates to the exhaust system to achieve this stringent emission regulation requirement that too one year before it is actually implemented.
