Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles host the first edition of #BikerBrewscape
JawaYezdi Motorcycles, received an overwhelming response to the first edition of #BikerBrewscape in Pune. This exclusive event brought the JawaYezdiKommuniti together and immerse themselves in a unique ride with a coffee experience which took them into the origins of coffee and learning to brew their own coffee using three different techniques: Pour over, filter and aero press. It was a memorable day filled with riding and indulging in the art of brewing coffee.
This unique Sunday outing witnessed a participation of 35 motorcycle enthusiasts. The JawaYezdi convoy was flagged off from JawaYezdi Motorcycles dealership in Wakad at 7am on Sunday, 18th June, 23. Following a ride briefing, the participants embarked on a captivating ride from Wakad to Chande hills on the outskirts of Pune, and finally arriving at Ecoville, a picturesque farm located on the outskirts of Pune for the coffee brewing experience. On this ride surrounded by scenic landscapes and the thrill of the open road, the riders relished the joy of riding out of the city, embodying the spirit of freedom that JawaYezdi Motorcycles are known for.
Upon arriving at the farm, participants started off with a hot breakfast with a specialised cold brew, setting the tone for an immersive coffee journey ahead. This was followed by a farm tour of Ecoville, which showcased sustainable practices and environmental initiatives. This immersive experience deepened the connection between nature, coffee, and the participants’ passion for motorcycles.
The highlight was a curated coffee experience commenced with a guided brewing and tasting session, led by coffee expert, RoshniMasand, who runs Cucobox, a coffee subscription service based out of Mumbai. As a part of this guided experience, participants indulged into the origins of coffee, various brewing methods, understanding the overall ‘bean to cup’ journey and finally getting to brew their own coffee blend using three different techniques: Pour over, filter and aero press.
The event also provided an opportunity for attendees to delve into the rich history of coffee, its relevance in today’s scenario, and the vibrant coffee culture in India. Engaging discussions and an informative session shed light on the sourcing, roasting, and brewing processes, enriching participants’ knowledge and appreciation for the beloved beverage. The immersive experience continued as participants savoured and discerned Indian Estate coffees, exploring their unique characteristics and complexities. This immersive experience deepened the connection between nature, coffee, and the participants’ passion for motorcycles.
