Kia EV6 Bookings Open, Launching on 2nd June
Kia has opened the bookings for their 1st all electric car model the EV6. Bookings will be limited to only 100 units for this year. The EV6 can be booked with a token amount of Rs. 3 Lakhs exclusively through 15 select dealerships across 12 cities in India. Customers can also log on to the Kia India website using the link – www.kia.com/in/ .
The Kia EV6 will be available in India with a choice of five exterior colours – Moonscape, Snow White Pearl, Runway Red, Aurora Black Pearl, and Yacht Blue.
The EV6 comes powered with a 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, generating 229ps electric power in 2WD and 325ps in AWD variant that gets two motors powering it. On a single full charge, the car can travel up to 528 kilometres as per the WLTP combined cycle. The Kia EV6 can propel from 0-100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds.
The Kia EV6 comes with innovative technologies like the multi-charging system, the world’s first charging system that operates with both 400V and 800V chargers without the need of an additional controller, Ultra-fast charging that Charges the vehicle from 10% to 80% in as little as 18 minutes using a 350KWh charger, Vehicle to load that Allows the Kia EV6 to power other devices (enough to power a medium-size home AC) by employing a 2-way charging technology.
The Kia EV6 also gets a host of advanced safety features ADAS features along with 8 airbags, ABS with EBD etc.
The Kia EV6 gets a very unique exterior styling which makes it stand out from the other Electric car models currently available especially the stylish raised rear profile with integrated all LED tail lamps.
In terms of interiors the Kia EV6 comes with a curved twin 12.3 inch displays that work as the AVN screen and as the Instrument cluster. Other features include ventilated and full electric front seats, dual zone climate control, ambient lighting, heads-up display, 14 speaker Meridian audio system and lots more.
