This flagship event, recognized by FMSCI as KTM’s One Make Championship, garnered significant attention from motorsport enthusiasts across the country. Supported by leading brands such as Castrol and CEAT, the KTM Cup showcased the brand’s commitment to fostering racing talent in India.

The second season of the championship witnessed an impressive turnout, with a staggering 900 KTM owners from 114 towns across India participating in the exhilarating racing action. Out of these, 111 skilled racers were selected to compete in the qualifiers, setting the stage for intense competition across three distinct categories: Pro, Amateur, and Women.

Adding to the excitement, journalists from India’s esteemed automotive media fraternity joined the fray, engaging in a friendly race alongside seasoned racers. This unique blend of professional and amateur talent underscored the inclusive spirit of the KTM Cup, showcasing the brand’s dedication to engaging with racing enthusiasts at all levels.

Beyond the races themselves, participants had the invaluable opportunity to hone their skills at the renowned KTM Race Academy. Spearheaded by ex-MotoGP racer Jeremy McWilliams and seven-time INMRC champion Emmanuel Jebaraj, the academy provided racers with expert guidance and training to elevate their performance on the track.

As the dust settled on the gripping races, the spotlight turned to the standout performers in each category. In the Pro category, Rahil Shetty emerged as the overall winner, demonstrating exceptional skill and determination. Abhishek Vasudev and Kayan Patel secured the second and third positions, respectively, showcasing the depth of talent in the field.

In the Amateur category, Adam Backer clinched victory, with Mohd Yusuf and Shashanka Sharma securing the second and third spots, respectively. Meanwhile, in the Women’s category, Ann Jennifer dominated the competition, with Lani Fernandez and Tanisha Arora securing podium finishes.
