Launched – Jaguar Launches the Special Edition XJ50 Prices it at Rs. 1.11Crore
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have launched the Special Edition of their flagship saloon the XJ in India today. The Jaguar XJ50 is priced at Rs. 1.11 Crore and commemorates 50 years of the company’s flagship luxury saloon.
The XJ50 is available in long wheelbase and comes powered with the with a 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine that makes 305hp and 689PS of torque mated to the 8-speed automatic transmission. The XJ can do a limited top speed of 250kmph and a dash to 100kmph in under 6.2 seconds. On the outside the updates on the XJ50 include Autobiography-style front and rear bumpers, new 19 inch wheels, chrome radiator grille with chrome surround and unique badging to the rear and side vents.This special edition Jaguar XJ50 comes with unique intaglio branding and XJ50-badged illuminated treadplates, alongside anodised gearshift paddles and bright metal pedals soft-grain diamond-quilted seats with an embossed leaper on the headrests and an XJ50 logo on the centre armrest that make the outside and the inside extra special.
The standard feature-list includes Touch Pro in-car infotainment system, InControl Apps, in-cabin Wi-Fi system, 12.3-inch HD TFT instrument cluster, two 10-inch HD screens for the rear occupants and a 20-speaker Meridian sound system.
The Jaguar XJ standing at 5.2 meters in length is one of the longest premium saloon in its class and competes with the European flagship saloons like of the Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7-Series, Audi A8 and the Volvo S-90. The Jaguar XJ50 is available in Fuji White, Santorini Black, Loire Blue and Rosello Red body color options.
