LIVE – 2018 Mini Countryman Launched at Rs. 34.90 Lakh
The 2018 Mini Countryman has been launched in India. The starting price for the All New Mini Countryman is Rs. 34.90 Lakh. The 2018 Mini will be available in three options – Petrol as the Cooper S priced at Rs.34.90 Lakh, the Cooper SD in Diesel priced at 37.40 Lakh and the top of the line Mini Countryman S JCW (John Cooper Works) Inspired variant priced at Rs. 41.40 Lakh.
BMW will locally build the 2018 Mini Countryman at their Chennai facility.This is the 2nd generation of the Mini Countryman. The Mini Countryman comes powered by a 2.0L 4 cylinder Twin Turbo petrol engine with 192hp of power and 280Nm of peak torque mates to a 8-speed automatic steptronic transmission. The Diesel version comes powered with the 2.0L 4-cylinder Diesel engine with 190hp of power and 400Nm of torque at hand. This version also comes mated to a 8-speed steptronic automatic transmission. The Mini Countryman Petrol can do 0-100kmph in 7.5 seconds with a top speed of 225kmph while the diesel Countryman does 0-100kmph in 7.7seconds with a top speed of 220kmph.
The Mini Countryman comes loaded with Mini Driving Modes which can also be individualised as per need. You also get to choose between Sport and Green drive modes. Driver assistance system include cruise control, park assist, rear view camera, head-up display, On the safety front the Mini Countryman gets front air bags, brake assist, 3-point seat belts, DSC, crash sensors, ABS and CBS, run on flat tyres as standard.
Add Adventure, Add Space, Add Stories is the punchline for the 2018 Mini Countryman. Mini Cooper Countryman comes with Panoramic sunroof, electric seats, automatic tailgate open and close, cruise control, LED headlight, white fog lamps, multifunction steering, LED interior and ambient lighting package, and a 6.5 inch touch screen system.
The Mini Countryman JCW Inspired version gets some extra goodies like aerodynamic kit, rear spoiler, 18 inch JCW spoke alloys, on the inside the special Mini Countryman JCW gets LED illuminated cockpit, JCW leather steering, Special Leather Cross Punch sports seats, Harmon Kardon speaker system, Mini Find Mate, and Mini Wired Package which includes navigation system professional with Mini Connected XL 8.8 inch touch screen unit.
The 2018 Mini Countryman is available in five colour options, Light White Island Blue, Thunder Grey, Melting Silver, Chilli Red, British Racing Green.
