LIVE – 2022 Toyota Glanza Launched, prices start at Rs. 6.39 Lakh
Toyota has launched the 2022 Glanza with prices starting at Rs. 6.39 Lakh. The heavily updated and refreshed premium hatch is available across four variants including E, S, G, and V. The Glanza in its latest avatar gets loads of changes on the outsides and insides along with a new engine powering it. The 2022 Glanza is available in Sporting Red (New), Gaming Grey (New), Enticing Silver (New), Insta Blue, Café White body color options.
In terms of exterior design, the 2022 Toyota Glanza gets a new single slat grille, new shape LED projector headlamps with L-shaped LED DRLs, new front and rear bumpers, new design 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and all new split LED tail lights.
In terms of interiors the 2022 Toyota Glanza comes with a Heads-Up Display (HUD), a 360-degree camera, a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, automatic climate control, a dual-tone dashboard, rear AC vents, a height-adjustable driver seat, and an Arkamys-sourced music system. Safety features on the Glanza include six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, rear parking sensors, a speed alert system, and a seat-belt reminder system. The Glanza also gets the Toyota I-Connect connected car feature with 45 45 plus features on it.

Powering the 2022 Toyota Glanza is the 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, dual VVT petrol engine that produces 89bhp and 113Nm of torque. This engine comes paired to a five-speed manual unit and an AMT automatic transmission option. Toyota claims a fuel efficiency of 22.9kmpl on the New Glanza.
In terms of safety the Toyota Glanza comes with 6-air bags, Antilock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), ISOfix and a Total Effective Control Technology (TECT) body. The Toyota Glanza goes up against the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz, Honda Jazz in its segment.
