LIVE – Honda launches the CB350 H’Ness its Modern Classic at Rs. 1.90 Lakh

Honda has launched its first Modern Classic Motorcycle the CB350 H’Ness in India at Rs. 1.90 Lakh. The CB350 takes ahead the iconic and legendary CB series that has become timeless and a brand in itself. The Honda CB350 H’Ness takes on the likes of the Royal Enfield 350 range, Jawa range, Benelli Imperiale in its class. Honda will sell the CB350 from its premium Honda Wing outlets and also offer service from Silver Wing its exclusive and premium service outlets. Bookings for the CB350 are open from today.

Honda had been teasing the media with sneak previews and teasers for the CB350 since few weeks and today the classic motorcycle has finally been launched. True to its classic name the CB350 gets inspired from the iconic CB1100 EX with loads of style and design.

The basic stance remains true to its lineage with the tank, side panels and the seat styling. There also is an option of getting the CB350 with brown seats or dual tone paint shade.  The classic round headlight gets modern touch with LED glow and DRL in it.

The front mud guard is slim in design while the wheels get multi spoke alloys. The front suspension is classic telescopic while the front disc brake is also standard. The rear also gets disc brakes while the CB350 has Dual Channel braking as standard.

The instrument cluster is a neat looking ana-digital unit with the speedo meter fused with a LCD display along with all the tell-tale warning lights such as two trip meters, an odometer, a fuel gauge, a clock and a gear position indicator. You also have Bluetooth phone connectivity on the DLX Pro version that also includes turn by turn navigation, call and music controls.

Powering the Honda CB350 H’Ness is a brand new 349.36cc single cylinder air cooled long stroke motor that hits out 21PS of power ar 5000rpm and 30Nm of torque at 3000rpm.

The modern touch on this engine is the inclusion of Honda Selectable Torque Control (Traction Control Select) making this the first motorcycle in its class to get this feature.
