Mahindra Triples Production of BE 6 Batman Edition Following Overwhelming Demand
Responding to what it describes as “an extraordinary outpouring of enthusiasm” from superhero fans and automotive collectors, Mahindra has announced a significant increase in production of the BE 6 Batman Edition.
Initially planned as an ultra-exclusive run of 300 units, the special edition will now be limited to 999 examples. Bookings open at 11 am on August 23, with pre-bookings have Opened at 5 pm today, August 21, via the Mahindra Electric SUVs website. Now 999 Batman Edition BE6 would be manufactured.
The BE 6 Batman Edition distinguishes itself with a satin matte black paint scheme, accented by piano black touches on the bumpers, cladding, ORVMs, and running boards. Prominent Batman insignia adorns the front doors, while exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels, gold-painted brake calipers, and suspension elements further set it apart from the standard model.
Inside, the special edition integrates a Batman hologram into the illuminated ‘Infinity’ panoramic glass roof. A striking ‘Alchemy’ gold halo surrounds the driver, and each unit carries a numbered plaque, highlighting its place within the 999-vehicle production run.
Based on the top-spec Pack Three variant, the BE 6 Batman Edition is equipped with a 79 kWh battery, delivering an ARAI-certified range of 682 km. Power comes from a single electric motor producing 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. The Batman Edition carries a premium of ₹89,000 over the standard Pack Three.
