Mahindra XUV700 crosses the 1 Lakh Deliveries Milestone in just 20 months

Mahindra & Mahindra has achieved a milestone with the XUV700 SUV by crossing one-lakh deliveries in less than 20 months since its launch. This makes Mahindra the fastest SUV from the brand to achieve this feat. For the records the first 50,000 units of the XUV 700 were delivered in the first 12 months of the launch of the SUV. Later Mahindra sold another 50,000 units of the SUV in the next eight months. Launched in August 2021 the Mahindra XUV 700 replaced the XUV500 as the flagship model on the SUV lineup for the Indian car maker.

Prices for the Mahindra XUV700 start at ₹ 14.01 lakh for the base variant and it go up to Rs. 26.18 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom) for the top end fully loaded model.

In terms of features the XUV700 comes with a long list of goodies that include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, flat-bottom steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 445 W Sony 3D audio with roof-mounted speakers, AI capabilities, AdrenoX technology, drive modes, auto booster LED headlamps, EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) with auto-hold function, ADAS tech, flush-type smart door handles, and loads more.

Powering the Mahindra XUV700 are two engine options, a 2.2L four-cylinder mHawk turbocharged diesel and a 2.0L four-cylinder mStallion turbocharged petrol engine. The Diesel engine makes 185 PS and 420 Nm of peak torque and comes paired with a six-speed manual transmission and 450 Nm when mated to a six-speed AT. On the entry level trim the same engine makes 155 PS and 360 Nm. The Petrol engine makes 200 PS maximum power and 380 Nm of peak torque and comes  mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed torque converter automatic option. The Mahindra XUV700 is also available with an AWD option.
