Mahindra XUV700 unveiled, all details here
Mahindra has finally taken the covers off their latest and highly awaited SUV the XUV700 today. We would be driving the XUV700 tomorrow in Chennai at their latest proving track but let us get you some details on it.
The XUV700 takes ahead the lineage of the XUV500 and comes loaded with tons of tech and safety features. In terms of styling XUV700 comes with dual boomerang LED DRL that adorn the face along with the all new six slat Mahindra grill with the brand new twin peaks Mahindra logo.
The sides reminds you of the XUV family design with the raised fixed quarter glass along with chrome inserts. The doors get unique smart door handles that go into the body line and come out when someone approaches it. Also ok the feature list is a huge panoramic glass roof with roof rails.
At the rear you get ‘X’ styles LED tail Lamps along with with a raised boot lid design. The rear looks very classy and sporty something unseen in the segment.
On the insides you get two 10.25 inch color displays that join as a single block giving you the instrument cluster and the AVN touch screen system. The XUV700 also comes with the android based Adreno X system that not only controls the AVN system but also has mote than 60 connected car features.
The XUV 700 gets a long list of safety features and driver alert features too. 7 airbags along with ABS with EBD, TCS etc loaded.
Powering the Mahindra XUV 700 are two engine options, you can choose between the 2.0L turbo diesel with 185Ps of power and 450Nm of torque. For petrol lovers you have the 2.0L turbo gasoline engine that makes 200PS of power and 380Nm of torque. You have manual and automatic options on both the engines and also a option to choose AWD feature. You also get preset drive modes called Zip Zap Zoomon the XUV700.
Coming to the trims the Mahindra XUV 700 has the AX3, AX5 and the AX7 along with the base MX to choose from.
