Maruti Suzuki releases official sketch of the XL6 Premium MPV, Launch scheduled for 21st August

Maruti Suzuki today released the first sketch of the all-new- XL6 their Premium MPV. The Maruti Suzuki XL6 will be available through the Nexa outlets of Maruti Suzuki creating a niche for itself.

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is a 6 seater Premium MPV that’s based on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The styling as seen from the sketch looks extremely sporty and trendy, visual resemblance with the Ertiga is seen but the XL6 gets a different nose and hood styling. The face of the XL6 is also seen sporting a sleeker center grille, sharper bumper lines and faux skid plate to go with the macho image. Headlight styling has a unique DRL glow to it while the LED tail lights too appear to be uniquely styled. Roof rails are also seen in the sketch making the XL6 look tall. The wheel arches are seen sporting black cladding that would run across the running board till the rear end. The overall styling on the XL6 looks premium and trendy.

On the inside the Maruti Suzuki XL6 is expected to sport an all black cabin styling with a three row seating. The middle row will get captain seats which will be a first in any Maruti Suzuki model. Latest generation SmartPlay infotainment system will be a part of the package on the XL6. The XL6 will be loaded with features for safety and comfort.

Powering the Maruti Suzuki XL6 is the BS6 1.5L Petrol engine that was first seen on the 2019 Ciaz. Transmission duty would be taken care by the 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque convertor automatic options. The SHVS Smart Hybrid system from Maruti Suzuki will also be present on the XL6 list of features.
