MG launches the Gloster Savvy 7-seater trim at Rs. 37.28 Lakh

Morris Garages (MG Motor) has launched a seven-seater variant of the Gloster’s top-spec Savvy priced at Rs 37.28 lakh (ex-showroom). With this buyers who were complaining of not getting a 7 seater version on the top end trim would be more than happy.

Surprisingly MG Motor has kept the pricing of the 7-seater Gloster Savvy trim same as the 6-seater version which would again further attract buyers to choose this trim. The seven-seater Gloster Savvy gets all the tech and features as the six-seater version. Advanced features like Level 1 autonomous driving tech, including auto park assist, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and forward-collision warning are all loaded to the latest 7-seater trim too.

The Gloster also comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12-speaker sound system, ambient lighting, heated and ventilated front seats, powered driver’s seat with massage function, and a panoramic sunroof, 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, and electronic stability program etc.

Powering the MG Gloster is the 2-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that makes 218PS and 470Nm that comes mated with an 8-speed automatic with power being sent to all four wheels. You also get seven drive modes on the Gloster.  The Gloster comes with the MG Shield warranty package for 3 years or 1 lakh km, whichever is less. The MG Gloster rivals against the likes of the Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, and Mahindra Alturas G4 in its segment.
