New Hero Destini Xtec launched, prices start at Rs 79,990

Hero MotoCorp launches the new Xtec variant of the Destini 125 XTEC in India with prices starting from Rs 79,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

In terms of looks new Xtec trim looks more premium than the base model and comes with chrome highlights in certain areas like mirrors and handlebar cowl. Other design additions include ‘XTEC’ badging, dual-tone seat and coloured inner panels.

The new Destini Xtec also comes with additional features like an LED headlight and it also offers Bluetooth connectivity now on its feature list. On this the semi-digital instrument cluster pairs with the rider’s smartphone using Bluetooth which then reads out alerts like incoming calls, missed calls, and, messages. You also get a USB charger on the package now.

Pillion comfort is enhanced on the Xtec variant with the addition of a backrest. The Destini is available in seven colour options and the Nexus Blue paint scheme is exclusive available on the Xtec trim. Powering the Destini 125 XTEC is the same 125cc single cylinder engine that makes out 9bhp of power at 7000rpm and 10.4Nm of peak torque at 5500rpm.
