New Kia Sonet Launched with prices starting at Rs.7.99 Lakh

Kia has launched the New Sonet at a starting price of Rs. 7.99 Lakh today. The Updated Sonet was unveiled in December last year and will be offered in seven variants, namely HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX+, and X-Line, across 11 exterior paint shades. The Kia Sonet rivals the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3OO.

Kia is offering an impressive lineup for the New Sonet that includes 19 variants, including 3 Petrol and 5 Diesel Manuals, 3 Petrol and 2 Diesel iMTs, 3 Petrol with 7DCT, and 3 Diesel Automatics to choose from.

In terms of updates, the New Sonet gets lot of changes on the outside which include a new grille, tweaked front and rear bumpers, new design LED headlamps, LED-connected taillamps, and a pair of 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. In terms of interiors, it gets a new 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless mobile connectivity, 10.25 inch digital instrument cluster also seen on the Seltos facelift, ventilated front seats, electric drivers seat, redesigned aircon panel, surround view monitor, and a Level 1 ADAS suite featuring 10 safety functions.

Engine options on the New Kia Sonet remain the same as the outgoing model. It continues to be offered with a 1.2-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre diesel engine, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Transmission options include a five-speed manual, six-speed manual, six-speed automatic, six-speed iMT, and a seven-speed DCT gearbox.
