Renault introduces new RXL variant for the KWID lineup priced at Rs. 4.16 Lakh
Renault has introduced the RXL trim to the existing lineup for their small hatchback the KWID. The New Renault BS-6 KWID RXL is priced at Rs. 4.16 Lakh. This also commemorates the 3.5 lakh sales mark for the Renault KWID in India. The KWID RXL variant is available in two versions, MT and AMT, priced at Rs.4.16 lakh and Rs.4.48 lakh, respectively.

As per Renault the Kwid offers low cost of ownership owing to 98% localisation of the car. The car maker also opened a host of offers that include the EMI-based ‘buy now pay later’ scheme, which can be availed either at the dealership or through the company’s website or via their mobile app. There are also offers across the product range including cash offers, exchange benefits and finance at a special rate of 8.25%. These are complemented by additional loyalty offers for its existing customers.
The latest trim of the Kwid comes loaded with a long list of equipment and features which include 8 inch touchscreen MediaNAV Evolution, first-in-class LED digital instrument cluster, a floor console mounted AMT dial, one-touch lane change indicator with top variants having an additional rear-view camera assist through sound warning and colour guidelines etc.
In terms of safety features the KWID gets pedestrian safety, anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution (ABS with EBD), driver airbag and driver & co-river seat belt reminder, speed alert, standard across all variants.
Powering the Renault KWID RXL is the 1.0LÂ BS6 compliant 999cc, three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 67bhp at 5,500rpm and 91Nm at 4,250rpm.
