SCOOP – Hyundai EXTER Completely Revealed, Full Exteriors Seen here

What you see here is the first undisguised images of the Hyundai EXTER SUV that would be launching in India in the coming months. The EXTER was spotted in Korea. What is seen is sharp character lines defining the SUV body styling, H design DRL placed high on the bumper while the white LED headlamps placed in the middle along with a wide mesh type air dam in Matt black and a silver Color wide skid plate finishing the brute SUV look on the EXTER. The new age flat H logo for Hyundai is in place along with blacked out pillar along with roof rails finishing off the visible styling. Wheel arches are squared out while the rounded off wing mirrors with LED turn indicators on the tip.

EXTER shares the platform with the Aura and Grand i10 NIOS and is expected to also share the powertrains.

The 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine found in the Grand i10 Nios and the Aura is what we anticipate the Exter to use. This engine makes a maximum power output of 85bhp and a peak torque of 115Nm & comes mated to either a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. The Micro SUV could also get a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine on the top trims of the SUV, this engine produces a maximum torque of 172Nm and a power output of 99bhp. Powertrain options here could include the DCT and the 6-speed Manual.
