Skoda Launches Rapid ONYX at Rs. 9.75 Lakh

Skoda has launched the Rapid Oynx and priced it at Rs. 9.75 Lakh. The Skoda Rapid Oynx will be available in two colour options, Lapiz Blue and Candy White, across all authorised Skoda dealership facilities in the country.

The Skoda Rapid Oynx comes with loads of added features that include, Black design elements, Quartz-cut Projector Lens headlights with chrome eyelashes, white bulbs for headlamps, and LED DRLs, Plush dual-tone Ebony-Sand interiors complemented with premium perforated beige with wood design leatherette upholstery, SuperSport Flat Bottom steering wheel with black stitching, Scuff Plates with RAPID inscription, black waste bin, rear windscreen sunblind, and 12 V power socket in front and rear console, ‘Drive’ – the state-of-the-art 6.5-inch Colour Touchscreen Central Infotainment System with SmartLink™ technology that is compatible with MirrorLink®, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Dual Airbags, ABS, ESC, HHC and au courant Anti-Theft alarm.

The RAPID ONYX will come with the 1.5L TDI diesel engine and the 1.6L MPI petrol engine from the ŠKODA RAPID model range. The 1.5 litre TDI produces 110PS (81kW) of power and a torque output of 250 Nm while delivering fuel efficiency of 21.72 kmpl (DSG) and 21.13 kmpl (MT). The 1.6 litre MPI or Multi Point Injection engine is at the core of the RAPIDS ONYX’s petrol variant. With 16 valves Dual Over-Head Camshaft (DOHC), it delivers 105 PS (77kW) of power and a peak torque output of 153Nm while delivering fuel efficiency figures of 15.41 kmpl (MT) and 14.84 kmpl (AT).
