Jeep Compass expands its Lineup with the Limited Plus Starting at Rs. 21.07 Lakh
Jeep Compass has been a runaway success for FCA in India. The Compass lineup has been expanded today with the introduction of the Limited Plus trim to its lineup with prices starting at Rs. 21.07 Lakh.
The Jeep Compass Limited Plus comes in three options, two in diesel and one in petrol. The Compass Limited Plus 4×2 Petrol comes with 7 speed Automatic transmission and is priced at Rs. 21.41 Lakh. The Diesel 4×2 version comes with 6 speed manual transmission option and is priced at Rs. 21.02 Lakh, the 4×4 version of the Compass Limited Plus is priced at Rs. 22.85 Lakh.
The Jeep Compass comes powered by a 2.0L MultiJet Diesel and 1.4L Multi-Air Turbo Petrol. The Diesel engine has 173PS and 350 Nm of torque while the Petrol engine makes 162PS and 250Nm of torque. The Diesel version of the Compass gets a 6-speed manual transmission while the Petrol comes with both he 6-speed manual as well as the 7-speed DDCT (Dry Dual Clutch Technology) or Automatic Transmission. The Compass is available in four trims – Sport, Longitude, Limited and Limited Plus with 10 variants, including a 4×2 Turbo Petrol with a 7-speed automatic transmission (DDCT).
FCA India President and Managing Director, Kevin Flynn, sees the addition of the Limited Plus as the next important step in India’s business strategy. “When we launched the Jeep Compass in August 2017 we were determined to keep setting new standards with our product quality and continuously make it more desirable for customers. The Limited Plus package is an important step in that direction” he said.
