Tata Motors rolls out 100,000th Nexon in 22 months after launch

Tata Motors today rolled out its 100,000th Tata Nexon from its Ranjangaon facility. The announcement comes in less than 22 months after the brand sold its first vehicle in September 2017.
This compact SUV has always been a customer favorite and having been crowned as India’s Safest car, NEXON has scaled new heights in sales, making it the 2nd most selling compact SUV in the past 1 year.

With its exciting coupe’ inspired design, premium three-tone interiors, 110 PS Turbocharged engines and various segment-first offerings like Multi-Drive modes (ECO | CITY | SPORT), 209mm ground clearance & Floating Infotainment with 8 speakers, NEXON created a benchmark in its category. In light of its superiority, NEXON became the most awarded compact SUV of 2018.

However, the biggest achievement for NEXON came with a full 5-star safety rating in the renowned Global NCAP crash test, making it India’s Safest Car. NEXON is the only car in India to have achieved this feat.

The Tata Nexon comes absolutely packed with features. Some of them include dual tone exteriors, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, 16-inch dual tone alloy wheels, 6.5-inch Harman infotainment system with 8 speakers, voice commands for climate control system,rear AC vents, rear parking camera, height adjustable driver seat and a smart key with push button start. A total of 5 colour options are available on the Tata Nexon – Moroccan Blue, Vermont Red, Seattle Silver, Glasgow Grey and Calgary White. All variants will come with ABS and 2 airbags as standard equipment.

The two engines powering the Tata Nexon are – 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol with 110 PS ans 170 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel with 110 PS and 260 Nm. Both engines come with a 6-speed manual and AMT Automatic gearbox options with 3 drive modes – Eco, City and Sport. The car comes with a standard warranty of 2 years or 75,000 kms.
