Tata Tigor EV Launched at Rs.11.99 Lakh, comes with a range of 306kms
Tata Motors has launched the Tigor EV as their 2nd Electric Car offering with prices starting at Rs.11.99 Lakh. The Tata Tigor EV is available in three variants that include XE, XM, and XZ+. Bookings for the updated Tigor EV have commenced for an amount of Rs 21,000 on the official website as well as at authorized Tata Motors dealerships.

In terms of exteriors the Tata Tigor EV gets a reworked front design with projector headlamps and LED DRLs on the lower section of the bumper, black ORVMs, LED tail lights, and a shark-fin antenna. The model is available in two colours that include Teal Blue and Daytona Grey. In terms of interiors the Tata Tigor EV comes equipped with a black and beige dual-tone interior theme, a seven-inch Harman-sourced touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, flat-bottom steering wheel, drive modes, an engine start-stop button, and teal blue accents for the AC vents. On the safety features list the Tigor EV gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, speed alert, and a seat-belt reminder system. Other features include electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, smart key with push button start, portable charging cable, etc.
Powering the Tata Tigor EV is a 26kWh lithium-ion battery that produces a maximum power output of 74bhp and 170Nm of torque. This is a IP 67 rated battery pack and motor. The Tigor EV can do a dash of 0-100kmph in 5.7 seconds. Using a regular 15A charger you can charge the battery from 0-80 per cent in 8.5 hours, while the fast charger takes less than one hour for the same. The Tata Tigor EV also gets GNCAP with a 4 star rating for adult (12.00 points out of 17.00) and child (37.24 points out of 49.00). You also get an 8 year & 160,000 KM battery & motor warranty on the Tigor EV. The Tata Tigor EV also includes 30+ connected car features on its list.
