Triumph Street Triple S launched in India
Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd, the iconic English two-wheeler manufacturer has today launched the all-new 2017 Street Triple S here in India. Built to thrill the owner in every rev, the new Triumph motorcycle is sure to satisfy him and provide sheer joy of ownership through its agile and addictive ride every day.
The Triumph Street Triple S motorcycle is powered by a new race bred 765 cc engine, borrowed from the celebrated Triumph Daytona motorcycle which develops a solid and crisp peak power of 113 PS @11,250 rpm and maximum torque of 73 Nm @10,421 rpm. The engine develops a strong and significant performance especially at the low-down and in the mid-range which will be appreciated by the riders.
The Triumph Street Triple S has different riding modes ‘Road and ‘Rain’ which alters the vehicle response and engine performance based on the riding condition to get the best out of the motorcycle. The different riding modes are linked to the ride by wire system and even adjusts the ABS and traction control settings as per the requirement.
The new Triumph features a fully revised LCD instrumentation which allows the rider to select the different driving modes, while on the move, or at standstill. The on-board computer provides includes features such as odometer, fuel gauge, trip meter, gear position display and journey distance. It also features the revised switch cubes setup from the latest generation Speed Triple.
The Street Triple S also gets new LED position light headlights, Showa upside down 41 mm separate function front forks with 110 mm travel and a preload adjustable piggyback reservoir mono-shock rear suspension unit. The motorcycle also comes fitted with premium Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres for that sharp and accurate handling around the corners and much required stability on the highways.

The Triumph Street Triple S has been launched at INR 8.5 lakhs, ex-showroom, New Delhi.The Street Triple S shall be made available with two color options Diablo Red and Phantom Black metallic.
