Volkswagen Ameo Deliveries Commence
Deliveries for the Volkswagen Ameo have finally commenced. The company recently launched the car at a mouth watering price tag of Rs. 5.14 lakhs ex-showroom, Mumbai.
Volkswagen has started deliveries of the newly launched Ameo compact sedan in India. It was launched at a shock price tag which undercut its own sibling the Polo, but has been positioned above this hatchback. The Volkswagen Ameo competes with cars like the Maruti DZire, Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze and Ford Figo Aspire. The car gets along with it many first in class features like Cruise control, Rain sensing wipers, Anti-pinch power windows – Front and Rear, Front center arm rest and Static cornering lights. It also comes with ABS and 2 airbags as standard features even of the entry level variant.
Mr. Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, “The Ameo has garnered positive response from the prospective customers ever since its debut at the Delhi Motor Show in February this year and its journey through key Indian cities. We are very happy to bring this Made in India and Made for India sedan to our customers now, as we initiate the deliveries. For the Ameo customers, we have also introduced special care packages to ensure a positive ownership experience along with the best of technology, safety and various first in class features at an attractive price. We look forward to continuing this momentum, especially with the festive season kicking in.”
The company also recently announced service packages for the Ameo. The Volkswagen Ameo can be had with two different service packs – Volkswagen Care Plus and Volkswagen Care. Both the packages will offer services like Extended Warranty, Roadside Assistance and Service Value Pack and a free inspection between 2nd and 3rd service. While the Care Pack will have you covered for 3 years, the Care Plus Pack will have your car protected for 4 years. The Care Plus pack also offers added services like Exterior Cleaning Treatment, Dry Wash Clean and an additional free inspection between the 3rd and 4th service.
