2023 BMW M 1000 RR & M1000 RR Competition Racing Superbikes Launched in India

BMW Motorrad has launched the 2023 M 1000 RR Competition which becomes its most powerful sport motorcycle model for the Indian market priced at Rs.55 Lakh and the regular RR version priced at Rs. 49 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The BMW M 1000 RRwhich is the sports version of the S100 has loads of goodies on it.

In terms of looks the 2023 BMW M 1000 RR comes with a extra sporty and aggressive look to it and is totally developed for true blue race track capability. Available in two trims – Standard and Competition. The body and styling is similar to the S 1000 RR with loads of carbon-fibre bodywork on the M version, winglets, carbon wheels, and BMW’s signature M theme paint scheme which makes it stand out.

Powering the 2023 BMW M 1000 RR is a 999cc, inline, four-cylinder engine that generates a massive 211bhp and 113Nm. This engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox that comes with a bi-directional quickshifter and a slip-and-assist clutch. BMW Motorrad says that the M 1000 RR can clock a top speed of 314kmph. A fast motorcycle like this needs a lot of rider aids and this has it all, you get ABS, traction control, slide control, seven ride modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, Race, and Race Pro 1, 2, and 3), launch control, wheelie control, steering stabiliser, cruise control, drop sensor, hill start, BMW endurance chain, GPS lap trigger, carbon rear fender, aero wheel cover, air box cover, billet pack, and lots more.

The M 1000 RR rides on USD front forks with rebound, compression, and preload adjustability and a rear monoshock. On the braking front this motorcycle comes with dual 320mm front discs and a single 220mm rear unit with dual-channel ABS. The M 1000 RR rides on 17-inch special M carbon wheels.

The 2023 BMW M 1000 RR standard is available in Light White and the Competition model comes in Black Storm Metallic. In terms of cometition the M 1000 RR goes up against the likes of the Ducati Panigale V4 R that is priced a lot higher at Rs. 69.99 Lakh (ex-showroom, PAN India).
