Bookings Open for New Range Rover Velar, Deliveries to commence from September

Jaguar Land Rover has opened bookings for the New Range Rover Velar in India. The new Range Rover Velar is available in Dynamic HSE with two powertrain options that include the 2.0-litre petrol engine making 246 bhp and 365 Nm torque and a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine that makes 201 bhp and 420 Nm torque. The car maker has not announced the prices. The New Range Rover Velar goes up against the Porsche Macan and Jaguar F Pace. Deliveries for the new model will begin from September this year.

In terms of exteriors the New Range Rover comes with a new grille up-front, new Pixel LED headlights and Dynamic Bend Lighting. Body Color options include Metallic Varesine Blue and Premium Metallic Zadar Grey with Deep Garnet and Caraway colourways for the interior.

In terms of the interiors the New Range Rover Velar gets an 11.4-inch AVN touch screen unit that is curved and has been integrated into the dashboard. The Velar also comes with some unique noise cancellation feature that cancels out the outdoor noise and makes the cabin even more silent. On the feature list you also get an air purification system with PM 2.5 filtration as well as CO2 management. There is wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on offer as well as a wireless charger.
