New Mercedes-Benz GLC Bookings Open, Launch scheduled on 9th August
Mercedes-Benz has opened bookings of the New GLC today. The 2nd Generation of the German SUV will be launched on the 9th of August in India. Interested buyers can book the New Mercedes GLC by paying a booking amount of ₹1.5 Lakh across dealerships around the country as well as at the Mercedes-Benz India online store. The new Mercedes-Benz GLC will be available in two different variants: GLC 300 4MATIC and GLC 220d 4MATIC.
In terms of dimensions, the updated New GLC stands at 4,716 mm in length, 2,075 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height, which is 60 mm longer, 21 mm narrower, and 4 mm lower than the outgoing model. The wheelbase has also been extended by 15 mm to 2,888 mm that will directly add more space for passengers in the second row.
In terms of changes the New Mercedes GLC comes with major design change for this its second generation. The German SUV now gets a larger grille, AMG based sporty cosmetic pack, sleeker full LED lights, and all new design alloy wheels range from 18 to 20 inches.
In terms of interiors the Updated New GLC comes equipped with a 12.3-inch instrument display and an 11.9-inch portrait-style infotainment display, a Head-Up Display (HUD), a panoramic sunroof, and a high-quality Burmester audio system with 15 speakers.
The New Mercedes GLC will also feature 4MATIC all-wheel drive technology as standard, which helps it perform well on different types of terrain. Additionally, the GLC features powerful engines with assisted start-stop functionality and a 9G automatic transmission as standard.

The Petrol GLC 300 4Matic develops 254 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. The Diesel GLC 220d meanwhile develops 194 bhp and 440 Nm of torque. The 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged units gets a 48-volt mild-hybrid tech that will also be standard.
