Bookings to Open for 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz from Tomorrow
Maruti Suzuki has opened pre launch bookings for the 2018 Ciaz sedan from tomorrow 10th August. Customers can book the New Ciaz sedan by paying a booking amount of Rs. 11,000 across Nexa showrooms across the country. Customers can also E-Book the New Ciaz on www.nexaexperience.com.
The updated Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan is all set to launch on the 20th August. The sedan is expected to feature a lot of cosmetic updates and come with loads of equipment add-ons. As per Maruti Suzuki the updated Ciaz will further strengthen the company’s position in the A3 premium sedan segment. Unofficial bookings for the 2018 Ciaz were already being accepted by dealers since a few weeks, now prespective buyers can get theirs booked across 319 Nexa outlets.
Maruti Suzuki had launched the Nexa around four years back and since then the car made a strong name for itself in the A3 premium sedan segment till lately when it showed signs of declining sales due to new model launches for the Honda City and the Hyundai Verna that it competes fiercely with. With this update the 2018 Ciaz will come loaded till the brim to take on the rivals head on.
On the outside the update will include revised LED Projector headlamp with LED daytime running lights on them, all new LED rear combination tail-lamps, and also come with all new machined alloy wheels. The cabin, on the other hand, is said to feature an updated dashboard and host of convenience features that make it a bit more upmarket.
Powering the 2018 Ciaz will be the new 1.5-litre 4-cylinder Petrol engine, that comes mated with an upgraded and highly improved mild hybrid SHVS (smart hybrid vehicle system) technology. On the diesel version the 2018 Ciaz will get its power from the very able and tried trusted 1.3-litre DDIS oil burner, which also will sport the updated SHVS system. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual gearbox and we also expect a new 5-speed AMT unit that will be included in place of the current 4-speed automatic torque converter transmission.
