The Ford Aspire Sport and the Figo Sport hatchback have been spotted at a dealer yard. It is expected that the two should release to the public together, soon.

The changes made to the Aspire Sedan are pretty limited, similar to the Figo Sport Hatchback.

The new Ford Aspire Sport comes attached with new alloy wheels, whose design is reminiscent of the old Fiesta S wheels. The wheels are most likely R15 wheels. The car also comes with special smoked headlights and luxurious Black interiors. The front grille matches the current version of the car, although it doesn’t have the sliver/chrome treatment of its predecessor.

Similar to the hatch, the Aspire gets decals on the sides too. The decals contain the ‘S’ emblem.

When it comes to equipment the Aspire features standard Driver & Passenger Airbags, an ABS & EBD standard taken from the Trend variant, Side & Curtain airbags on the top Titanium plus, an Audio system with Bluetooth, Aux and USB as well as electric adjust ORVMs.

The Aspire, still following the trend of the Figo hatch, is available in 3 engine options, namely a 1.2 liter Ti-VCT, a powerful 1.5 liter Ti-VCT petrol Engine and a 1.5 liter TDCi Diesel Engine. The 1.2 petrol and 1.5 diesel come attached with a 5 speed manual transmission, whereas the 1.5 liter Ti-VCT petrol engine is offered with a 6-Speed PowerShift AT.

The compact sedan segment is back at the forefront as one of the biggest segments with the launch of Tata Tigor, the upcoming Hyundai Xcent facelift and also the soon to be launched new Maruti Suzuki Dzire. Not leaving out the Aspire S or Aspire Sport.

These new editions of the Aspire and Figo are hoped to help revive low sales of around 3000 units which are lower than usual when compared to its competitors.
