Honda Africa Twin priced at Rs. 12.90 lakhs in India

The Honda Africa Twin comes with a dual clutch transmission that is a first for any motorcycle in the world.

Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India has announced the launch of the Honda Africa Twin motorcycle in India. It has been priced at Rs. 12.90 lakhs and only 50 lucky customers will be able to ride home on one as off now. The motorcycle will be available for bookings at the Wing World dealerships that are currently spread across 22 cities in India. The talking point about this bike is its dual clutch automatic transmission that will offer a choice of manual as well as automatic shifting. The company has also planned a grand launch event in India which the lucky 50 customers will get to be a part of.

The Honda Africa Twin aka Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin is a true off road motorcycle. It draws its power from a 1000cc twin parallel motor that develops 87 HP and 92 Nm of max power and torque. The bike is based on a lightweight frame and boasts of class leading ground clearance of 250mm. The inverted cartridge type fully adjustable front forks come with a 230mm stroke is the longest in its class and has a good range of rebound and compression settings.
