India’s first Yamaha Scooter Boutique launched in Chennai

The Yamaha Scooter Boutique aims at elevating the buying experience of Yamaha scooter buyers and is a one of a kind showroom in India.

Yamaha Motor India has just launched India’s first scooter boutique in the city of Chennai. The showroom named as “Bikerz” is spread across 3100 square feet and will offer sales as well as service to its customers. The showroom will also sell fashion accessories too making it a one stop shop for Yamaha customers. The Yamaha Scooter Boutique will sell all Yamaha scooters that consist of the Fascino, Alpha, Cygnus Ray-Z and Cygnus Ray-ZR. Yamaha Scooter Boutique will also display ride props, safety training and supports etc. The company entered the high volumes scooter segment back in 2012.

Commenting on the launch of the Yamaha Scooter Boutique, Mr. Masaki Asano, Managing Director, Yamaha Motor India Sales, said, “Yamaha’s innovation in design and technology has contributed significantly to the modern era of motorcycling in the world. Similar engineering is also consumed to design Yamaha’s global scooter line up which offers comfort and excitement with every ride along with stylish and sporty visual appeal. India’s expanding scooter segment, which has been defining the growth trajectory for the domestic two-wheeler industry for quite some time, could now see a boost with more female customers.
