Jeep Compass Sport Plus trim launched at Rs. 15.99 Lakh

FCA India has today launched the entry level trim for their best selling Compass SUV. The Jeep Compass Sport Plus is introduced as the base model on the lineup and is priced at Rs. 15.99 Lakh Ex Delhi.

The Jeep Compass Sport Plus comes with additional new features added as standard to the equipment list which include 16-inch sporty alloys, dual-zone auto air-conditioning (climate control), rear parking sensors and black roof rails, in addition to the 21 key features already available on the vehicle like the Electric Parking Brake, Disc Brakes on all four wheels and the sophisticated Frequency Selective Damping, which also come standard across the entire Jeep Compass range.

Recently Tata Motors had launched the Harrier which is priced at Rs. 12.69 Lakh a lot lower to the Compass, now with the launch of the Compass Sport Plus the price gap between the two reduces with the Compass getting loaded with more features even on the base trim.

The Jeep Compass was launched in July 2017 and since its launch has been received very well making a name for itself in the segment selling handsomely. The Jeep Compass is being offered with two powertrain options – the 160+ HP, 250 Nm Multi-air petrol and the 170+ HP, 350 Nm, Multijet Diesel. The SUV will also come with options of the 6-speed manual transmission (Petrol and Diesel) and the 7-speed Dual Dry Clutch Technology Automatic or DDCT (Petrol).
