LIVE – 2021 Audi Q5 Launched at ₹ 58.93 Lakh

Audi has launched the 2021 Q5 priced at ₹ 58.93 Lakh. The Audi Q5 is offered in two trims – Premium Plus and Technology.

In October, the German carmaker began assembling the new Q5 at its Aurangabad facility in Maharashtra.

The 2021 Audi Q5 is the highly updated latest generation of handsome German SUV that makes a mega comeback into its segment after a short break. Audi had opened bookings for this the Made in India Q5 some weeks back. Audi has launched this latest version of the Q5 globally in 2020 but its India entry got delayed due to the Covid Pandemic.

In terms of changes on the outside the Q5 gets  the Q8’s massive single frame octagonal grille with vertical chrome slats, redesigned all LED headlamps, 19-inch five-spoke alloys wheels, heavily tweaked LED tail lights, chrome inserts, and a all new design rear bumper.

On the inside the updated Q5 comes with fresh looking new design dashboard layout. Major updates include a 10.1 inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, 12.3 inch fully-digital instrument cluster, new design steering wheel, leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, ambient lighting, wireless charger, 40:20:40 split rear seats, an electrically-operated tailgate, front parking sensors, cruise control, hill-hold assist, and more.

Powering the 2021 Audi Q5 facelift is the 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. This motor is tuned to produce 249bhp and 370Nm of torque. Transmission option is a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission distributing power to all four wheels through Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

The newly launched Audi Q5 goes up against the likes of BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Range Rover Evoque, Lexus NX and the recently launched Volvo XC60.
