Maruti Suzuki opens bookings for the Premium UV INVICTO, Launch scheduled for the 5th of July

Maruti Suzuki has opened the bookings for the ‘INVICTO’ Premium UV which is their version of the Toyota Innova Hycross today. The launch of the Maruti Suzuki Invicto is scheduled on the 5th of July. Customers can pre-book the brand’s pinnacle offering at any NEXA showroom with an initial payment of INR 25,000 or by logging on to www.nexaexperience.com

It may be recalled that Maruti Suzuki and Toyota Kirloskar Motor have been in a global partnership since 2016 and have launched several shared car models over the years that include the Toyota Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara hybrid SUVs. With the Toyota Innova Hycross being the automaker’s latest offering, it is likely, that the upcoming Maruti Suzuki is based on the Toyota MPV.

From the teaser invite sent the silhouette of the Invicto  is seen which resembles the Hycross. Like the Grand Vitara and the latest premium MPV could also share the underpinnings of the Toyota counterpart.

For now the Innova Hycross comes in petrol-only and self-charging hybrid engine options. The petrol only engine produces 172 hp and 209 Nm of torque and the hybrid version produces a combined 183 hp and 188 Nm of torque. Other highlights of the Hycross include Level 2 ADAS functions, a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, Ottoman style – reclining second row and more.
