Mercedes-Maybach S650 Is The Best Cabriolet Money Can Buy!

Mercedes-Benz has revealed probably its best Cabriolet the Mercedes-Maybach S650 ahead of the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Mercedes-Maybach becomes the best cabriolet that money can buy. To keep it highly exclusive Mercedes-Maybach will only be building 300 units of these highly luxurious piece of art of which 75 are already allotted to the US market. There would be three color options to choose from to keep things a bit more exclusive.

The Mercedes-Maybach S650 gets all the exclusive Maybach badgings and design clues on the exteriors all around the fenders, kickplates etc. The 20-inch wheels get the traditional Maybach Dinner Plate design. The paint shade options on this uber luxury topless car are Zircon Red with a porcelain and black interior and a black top, Cote d’Azur Blue with a porcelain and saddle interior and a beige top, and Designo Diamond White with a porcelain and Yacht Blue interior with a dark blue top.

The cabin on the Maybach S650 is loosely based on the Mercedes-Benz Style Arrow 460 Granturismo Yacht with perforated seats and lots of flowing lines that come in two colors, either “Piano lacquer” black with the Zircon Red or Magnolia Nut Brown with the other two options. The cars would have individual inserts badging from 1—300 symbolizing the limited 300 units sequence that they would be manufactured. Mercedes-Maybach also will be giving out a 4 piece exclusive Maybach badged luggage in the trunk.

The key fob gets finished in rich Porcelain leather. There also is a special car cover that comes standard as the same color as the convertible top. A certificate signed by the mustachioed one, Daimler Chairman Dr. Dieter Zetsche, provides the corporate-badged to make the owner feel a lot more exclusive.

What drives this piece of art on wheels is a 6.0-liter, twin-turbo V12 that has around 621 horses under its belt and punches out around 1000 Nm of torque in due process. A highly advanced dual clutch 7-speed automatic transmission comes mated to this large engine. This beauty can do a dash to 100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds and top out at a limited 250 kmph top speed. Mercedes-Maybach have not disclosed the pricing and availability for the Maybach S650 Cabriolet. Mercedes-Maybach is the ultra luxury brand that belongs to the Mercedes-Benz family has been in the revival mode since 2015 and the S650 Cabriolet will be a big step in the upward direction.
