Triumph Motorcylces Launches Thruxton R In India At Rs. 10.90 Lakhs!

Triumph India Motorcycles has launched the Thruxton R at Rs. 10.90 lakhs ex-showroom, Delhi. This is the flagship motorcycle from the British marque’s Bonneville range which also consists of the Street Twin and T120.

Triumph Motorcycles has launched the Thruxton R at Rs. 10.90 lakhs as promised by the company during the 2016 India Bike Week that was held in Goa. The company had launched the other two bikes from its Bonneville range – Street Twin and T120 earlier this year at the mentioned event. The launch of the Thruxton R completes the Bonneville range in India and offers a classic cafe racer experience to its customers. Gul Panag was present at the event and took delivery of her own new Triumph Bonneville T120.

The Triumph Thruxton R is powered by a 1,200cc parallel twin engine that develops 96 BHP of power at 6,750 RPM and a torque of 112Nm at 4,950 RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed and features a low inertia crank, which allows the engine to rev more freely through the gears. The Thruxton R is equipped with Brembo monobloc callipers, Showa big piston forks, Ohlins rear suspension and Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa Tyres. The Thruxton R comes with a retro design language with a round headlight with LED DRLs, a 3D instrument cluster and LED taillights.
