TVS Partners with PETRONAS , form Petronas TVS Racing Team

Tvs motor Company, the Hosur based two and three wheeler manufacturer has signed a partnership agreement with Petronas, an Oils to Fuel manufacturing alliance to become the Title sponsor of TVS racing.

Post this tieup, the new entity shall be called “Petronas TVS Racing Team.” Petronas will develop and manufacture high performance engine oils for the Factory racing team, who will participate in road racing, supercross and rally formats. This partnership is further complemented by a strategic business alliance to develop a Co-branded oil – Prtronas TVS Tru4 Racepro which will be available for consumers in the high performance market across India from May 2022.

Petronas will launch these oils in different blends, synthetic, semi synthetic and mineral based oils. Currently, they have only 15w50 grade ready for dispatch, and other grades of oils will be soon developed as per arising requirements. Pricing for the same has yet not been disclosed, but we expect it to be a low price high preposition product.
