2017 Suzuki Hayabusa Now Available With More Colour Options

The 2017 Suzuki Hayabusa is imported as a CKD and is assembled at SMIPL’s manufacturing plant in Gurgaon.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), a subsidiary of one of the world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan has announced the launch of the Hayabusa sports bike in the latest colours for 2017. The Hayabusa shall be available in three colours – Glass Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White (AGT), Pearl Vigor Blue / Glass Sparkle Black (BBD) and Glass Sparkle Black (YVB). The bike will be available at Suzuki Big Bike Dealerships for Rs. 13,88,329 (Ex-showroom Delhi) due to it being a CKD (Completely Knocked Down Units).

The Suzuki Hayabusa is powered by a 1340cc in-line 4-cylinder motor that develops power in excess of 200 PS and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It has a fuel tank measuring 21 litres and weighs in at 266 Kgs. The brakes on this bike are large twin discs upfront and a single disc at the rear, both equipped with ABS. The bike comes with wide 190 section tyre at the rear while the front gets a 120-section tyre. Suspension duties are carried out by Inverted Telescopic, Coil Spring, Oil Damped forks upfront and Link Type, Coil Spring, Oil Damped forks at the rear.

Some of the other features available on the Suzuki Hayabusa are Drive Mode Selector, Forged Pistons and PVD coated rings, dual throttle valve, Titanium valves, Iridium spark plugs, etc. The Suzuki Hayabusa is one of the most renowned and cult motorcycles across the globe, and this fan following is more than evident among motorcycling fans in India as well. Apart from the phenomenal performance, this motorcycle has been widely acclaimed for its all-round capabilities. The Suzuki Hayabusa competes with the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX14R which is also a sports tourer bike.
