Jeep Unveils Meridian X: Packed with Upgrades and Set for Facelift

The Jeep Meridian X, introduced by Jeep, comes with a bundle of additional features such as an air purifier, front-and-rear dashcam, puddle lamps, and more. This special edition, priced at Rs. 50,000, is available for all variants of the SUV – Limited, Limited (O), and Overland, offering not just aesthetic enhancements but also functional upgrades.

Key highlights:

Jeep Meridian X include a stylish grey roof and alloy wheels with grey accents. Setting it apart from the standard Meridian, it boasts extra equipment like side moulding, programmable ambient lighting, sunshades, and premium carpet mats. Moreover, it offers optional features such as a rear-seat entertainment package and a dashcam. The pricing for the Jeep Meridian X lineup starts at Rs. 29.99 lakh, going up to Rs. 40.33 lakh, considering the entry-level Limited variant priced at Rs. 29.49 lakh (available only in manual, 4×2 form).

Power:

The Jeep Meridian X is a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine generating 170hp and 350Nm of peak torque. This engine comes paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional 9-speed torque converter automatic, depending on the variant.

Furthermore, Jeep has plans for a facelifted version of the Jeep Meridian, scheduled for launch later this year. Recent sightings during testing confirm minor styling updates, likely including revised bumpers and a refreshed grille. The significant addition will be an ADAS suite, enhancing its competitive edge against rivals like the Skoda Kodiaq, MG Gloster, and Toyota Fortuner.
