LIVE – 2020 Hyundai Verna Launched, prices start at Rs. 9.30 Lakh
Hyundai has today launched the 2020 Verna with prices starting at Rs. 9.30 Lakh. The heavily update Hyundai Verna now gets powered three engine options which are all BS-6 Complaint which include the 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and 1.0-litre turbo petrol options. The transmission options include 6-speed Manual, 7-speed Dual Clutch and also an Automatic transmission option. The 2020 Hyundai Verna is available in 11 variants and six colour options –which include phantom black, fiery red, polar white, typhoon silver, titan grey and starry night. The 2020 Hyundai Verna becomes India’s first fully connected mid-sized sedan loaded with connectivity features.
In terms of exteriors the 2020 Hyundai Verna gets a strong yet elegant stance enhancing the road presence with unique LED headlamps and Dark Chrome Radiator Grille upfront. All new bumpers with wide air dams, diamond cut alloy wheels, new design tail lights, The TURBO trim comes with exclusive design integrations like Twin tip muffler, Glossy black grille along with all black interiors. The 2020 Hyundai Verna also comes with R16 dual tone Styled Steel Wheel and New diamond cut alloys.
In terms of interiors the 2020 Hyundai Verna comes with premium dual tone beige and black interior as standard for the 1.5-litre engine variants, the 1.0-litre turbo variant comes with black interior and red accents. The 2020 Verna comes loaded with a long list of features that include front/rear power windows and rear AC vents is standard across all variants other features include Digital Cluster, Front Ventilated Seats, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, 20.32 cm touchscreen AVNT with HD Display, Driver Rear View Monitor, Paddle Shifter, Wireless Charger and Electric Sun roof.
The 2020 Hyundai Verna also comes with the renowned Hyundai Blue Link connectivity feature that include 45 Blue Link features for Safety, Security, Remote Operations, Vehicle Relationship Management, Geographic Information Services, Alert Services and Voice Recognition.
In terms of safety the 2020 Hyundai Verna comes with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, speed alert, driver and co-driver seat belt alert, central locking, impact sensing auto door unlock, speed sensing auto door lock, front seat belt pre-tensioners, immobilizer, ISOFIX, dual horn and emergency stop signal.
Powering the 2020 Hyundai Verna are the BS6 Diesel and Petrol engines which include the 1.0 Litre Turbo GDI engine with 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission, 1.5 Litre BS6 Petrol with 6-speed Manual Transmission & Intelligent Variable Transmission and 1.5L BS6 Diesel with 6-speed Manual Transmission & 6-speed Automatic Transmission.
