The Lamborghini Aventador S features a Ego mode which influences behaviour of the engine, gearbox, 4WD system, steering system and also the suspension.
Lamborghini India has launched the Aventador S in India at an eye watering Rs. 5.01 crore ex-showroom, Delhi. This model is the new flagship offering from the Italian sportscar maker in India. The Lamborghini Aventador S is powered by a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine that develops a mind boggling 740 HP and 690 Nm. This figure is 40 HP more than its predecessor and can catapult the car to 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. It also has a top speed limited to 350 kmph and comes mated to a 7-speed single clutch gearbox that boasts of gear changes in as little as 50 milliseconds. Kerb weight stands at 1,575 kgs.
The Lamborghini Aventador S comes with a 4-wheel drive system and for the first time gets rear wheel steer as well. It gets 4 driving modes namely Strada, Sport, Corsa and the new Ego mode. The brutish sportscar runs on Pirelli P Zero tyres. There is a new exhaust system that is 20 percent lighter than before. It consists of 3 single pipe outlets at the rear of the car which produce an enhanced resonance of the already intimidating V12 sound.
The Lamborghini Aventador S has been designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile and features certains design elements like the lines on the rear wheel arches that are inspired from the iconic Countach. The cockpit of the car gets a new TFT digital dashboard that can be customized according to driver preferences with different graphics for different driving modes. The interiors can be further customized as much as you wish through the Ad Personam program.
