Mercedes-Benz Launches the Made in India BS-6 E-Class LWB at ₹57.50 Lakh
Mercedes-Benz has launched the Made in india BS-6 E-Class Long Wheel Base in India with prices starting at ₹57.50 Lakh. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB BS-6 will be available in Petrol and Diesel variants in Expression and Exclusive trims.
India is the only country to get the Right Hand Drive version of the LWB E-Class. The E200 Expression Petrol is priced at ₹57.50 Lakh while the E200 Exclusive comes in at ₹61.50 Lakh. The Diesel E220d Expression is priced at ₹58.50 Lakh and the E220d Exclusive is priced at ₹62.50 Lakh. The new BS 6 LWB E-Class was launched by Martin Schwenk, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.
Powering the Diesel E-Class is the BS-6 OM 654 1950 cc, in- line 4 diesel engine that churns out 194 hp and 400 Nm of torque and can do 0 -100 km/h in 7.3 secs. Powering the Petrol version is the BS-6 M 264 engine 1991 cc with 197 hp and 320 Nm of torque which can do 0 -100 in 8 secs.
The New Long wheelbase E-Class not only features two state-of-the-art BS 6 compliant petrol and diesel engines but also hosts new interior appointments and feature additions. These include an intuitive rear touchpad, Burmester high-end surround sound system, widescreen digital cockpit (12.3 inch) and a rear wireless charger.

The luxurious interior was so far offered only with the top end E 350d, now this will feature across all variants on the E-Class. The interior has vertical stitching pattern on the seats and more plush interiors. The floor carpet color and the upper dashboard in ARTICO contrast with the upholstery color to give the most luxurious feel in the interiors. Additionally, high quality velour floor mats add to the luxury quotient on the E-Class.
The New E-Class also gets the futerestic display with 12.3-inch screen for the instrument display along with a 13 speaker 590 watt Burmester sound system And wireless charging for the rear passengers on the Exclusive variant.
