Mercedes Benz reveals exclusive edition of G-Class in India

Mercedes Benz is the best selling luxury brand in India currently topping the podium. The G-class, also known as G-Wagen is the mid sized luxury range of SUVs from the German marquee brand. To continue positioning their cars as an attractive luxury option, Mercedes Benz has currently revealed two special models of its G-class luxury SUV, the ‘designo manufaktur edition’ and the ‘Exclusive edition’.

While globally, the entire range of the G-class SUVs gets the special editions, Mercedes Benz India has limited the availability to only Mercedes G63 AMG.

The latest additions for the AMG special variants include stainless steel underguard manufactured specially for the model. The new variants also get the AMG sports strips on the sides and rub strip inserts in dark aluminium for that sleek and premium look. The spare wheel cover now sports the same color as the vehicle’s exterior. Also included is a new 21 inch, 5 double spoke light weight alloy wheels painted in matt black and finished with high sheen. As per the exterior color options available, the exclusive edition will also include a matt paint finish AMG monza grey magno which is exclusive to the trim.

Coming to the interiors, customers now have an option of choosing a two-tone , leather lined dashboard along with AMG sport seats with two tone leather upholstery. Over and above these, Mercedes also provides an option of two tone nappa leather seats in six color options. If the customer still requires more customization, Mercedes further provides a choice of two tone seats in three colors with the side bolstering in black carbon leather.

For the interior panels, customers have a choice of choosing either carbon or black piano finish for the interior panels and trims. Lastly, the additional seat comfort package will pack in multi contoured seats with seat climatisation options for both the driver and front passenger seats.
